12 Startups in 12 Months

Why You Should Ship Like a Mad Man

This year, I'm launching 12 startups after only 3 last year. Here's why...

The math behind successful indie hackers is fascinating - most hit it big only after shipping multiple projects. Take Peter Levels: he built a multi-million-dollar business helping digital nomads, but his hit rate? Just 5%.

Levels’ hit rate

There's this thing called the Pareto principle (which is also called the 80/20 rule): 80% of results come from 20% of efforts. Looking at successful founders like Marc, just two products from his 20+ startups generate 95% of his income. 80/20 is 95/5 here.

A Pareto Distribution

That's why this year, I'm building 12 premium apps using SvelteAppFast as foundation. Each one will solve one specific problem, target one niche, and be paid-only.

The first app is already built and making sales (I live-streamed the whole process). The second is in development. The first 4 I know for sure already. Then eight more to go.

Most will probably fail, but that's the point. Because just one success can change everything.

What's your prediction - how many will work?
